"Banwa," a term coming from ancient local tribal peoples, means "community", or "people of this place."

Whilst many of our team have lived and worked in hospitality, the great majority are from Palawan which brings an automatic dedication to hospitality and, a world class, yet discreet level of service.

Under the guidance of our hugely experienced Island Manager, Janet Oquendo, our "Banwaite" team not only ensure a wonderful experience for all our guests, but ensure the island plays a vital part in the local community and protection of this biodiverse landscape.
